LITTLE GIRL, BIG WORLD

I'm a small girl. Like, literally. I'm 5 ft. tall. Sometimes, on other scales, I am measured to be 4 ft. 11 in. That really pisses me off. Once, they told me I was 4 ft. 8 in. Well... that wasn't one of my best days. But, besides the self-depracating jokes and fake anger I muster, I enjoy being a small girl.

I can charm my way through stuff, occasionally. I don't have to hold out branches as I pass by trees to clear my way. I can hide behind tall people when the sun is too high up. And I can crawl through small cave openings and weasel my way through trails. Of course there are down sides too, like having to hold on to someone while jumping from platform to platform, or rock to rock, or having to stand on tip-toe to see past that giant of a man in front of me. But, all in all, life as a little girl is good.

Little is not a limitation. As they say, big things come in small packages. And small packages are easier to courier around the world anyhow. So, this is me, trying to ferry myself all over the world, despite a day job and local social obligations. This is LITTLE GIRL, BIG WORLD.
